My family has always come first. Raising five boys is the hardest job I ever loved!  Blake graduated from UVA and is currently an Ensign in the Navy, Justin graduated from Wake Forest and is now headed for his masters degree in Energy Economics, Colby is concentrating in Economics at Harvard, Cooper is a sophomore at Wake Forest, and Trevor is a junior at Barnstable High.

Over the past 20 years, we built three homes and remodeled another all while juggling school, sports, and all the fun that raising 5 boys entails.  Time was limited so decisions had to be made in a timely fashion.  I trusted my eye and didn't waiver.  Creating a comfortable, functional home for our large and busy family was important, but I wouldn't let it consume my limited time.

As the fifth boy approaches his own high school graduation, I am about to be let go from this full time job (tongue in cheek).  Concurrent with my workload lightening, I have begun the next chapter in my life: aiding people with their own spaces.  I have recognized interior design as my second passion, and just as in boy-raising, I am confident in my capabilities.  Each client has unique circumstances that requires an adaptable skill set such as my own to properly handle the project.

"I recently did a renovation and was overwhelmed with managing my family and life while finishing all the details.  Beth mentioned she had recently started her new business, and knowing her great sense of style, I immediately asked for her help on my project.   Working with her is not only fun and enjoyable, but she gets the job done quickly and is very sensitive to budget.  The results were fabulous….she’s a great talent!"
